CCS Monthly Meeting

• The "Booger Dance Tradition", a program presented by Deborah Scott
• A review of the Cherokee Nation Holiday, held Labor Day weekend in Tahlequah, OK (See www.cherokee.org for details.)

• September 22:  CCS POTLUCK DINNER, 6:00 p.m., at the home of Deborah Scott:  4407 Rose Street (Houston Heights).  Houston area Native peoples and their families are welcome to join us for this special evening as we invite Chickasaw, Choctaw, Potawatomi and other tribal organizations to gather with us for a great visit.

• October  4: Class on making "Booger" masks at Tracy Gee Community Center, 7:00 p.m.

• November 3: Booger Dance costume party to sport our masks (or other costume you enjoy wearing) at the home of Deborah Scott.
