


Location: Tracy Gee Community Center, 3599 Westcenter, one block south of Richmond Avenue, east of the Sam Houston Tollway West Belt.
Meeting is open to all interested persons. No admission fee.

11:00 a.m. The Traditional Moccasin Walk honoring Cherokee ancestors who endured and those who died on the Trail of Tears.
Cherokee games, traditional storytelling and crafts round out an exciting day for all ages. Contact CCS President B.J. Callihan, 713-771-2918 or e-mail trbjc@fondren.com, if you want to participate in basket weaving. Reservations are complete for basketweaving materials when fees are received.
Remember to bring your potluck goodies and lawn chairs! CCS will provide soft drinks. Facilities include picnic tables, lighting, restrooms, pay phones and a nearby playground. Facility is handicapped accessible. This is an alcohol free and drug free event.
